Our Story

Bur·gee – a distinguishing flag, regardless of shape, of recreational boating organizations also used by ships for signals and identification.

We founded BURGEE in 2021 from our love of the ocean and to celebrate the coastal New England lifestyle. We created our own BURGEE styles with our eponymous crossed flag design to evoke life by the sea and pay tribute to Mystic's rich maritime history. In our store we also offer a highly curated selection of our favorite brands for Men, Women, Kids and Home as well as select Vintage products. Our products are designed to take you from the beach to the boat and from city to coast.

Our storefront located in downtown Mystic is designed to welcome you in with a St. Barths meets coastal New England aesthetic.
